About the club

Old Albanians FC is the football club for former pupils of St Albans School, playing Saturday football in the Arthurian League.

History

A group of former pupils set up the club in 2017 and entered the Arthurian League, starting in Division 5 North in 2017–18. After near misses in the first seasons, the club won promotion in 2020–21, the same season it won the David Woolcott Trophy.

Two more promotions followed in 2021–22 and 2022–23, three in a row, taking the club to Division 2 for 2023–24. That first season in Division 2 ended in relegation, but the club bounced straight back as 2024–25 Division 3 champions and has played in Division 2 since.

Old Albanians FC is the football club. Old Albanian RFC (rugby) is a separate club that shares the Woollams site.
